Migration to our new servers went smoothly and we hope you enjoy faster response times on the site.
One change worth noting is that all times have changed from Eastern Time (ET) to Central Time (CT) for data and charts.

EQEcon will be offline for some amount of time between Friday Sep 15th and Sunday Sep 16th while we migrate the site to significantly more powerful hardware. We apologize for the inconvenience as we work to increase capacity and improve site responsiveness.

As many of you know, we had some serious technical issues with our data over the past
couple weeks. After much work, we were able to resolve these issues this week and pricing data
is once again being updated on a continual basis. We apologize for this extended
outage and have credited all Premium accounts for an entire month of service. We
appreciate your patience, enjoy!

Last night we experienced a hardware failure that caused service outage. We have
restored service and are now back online, and all Premium members received a 1-day
credit for this downtime. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Playing World of Warcraft? -

We are happy to announce our plans for
WOWEcon.com, a site much like EQEcon
for the newly popular MMOG: World of Warcraft. We have released
the beta version of our free in-game mod for public download and testing. In the next month
we will be preparing the web-based portion of WOWEcon.com and running an small Closed
Beta test. EQEcon.com members will automatically be invited to participate in the WOWEcon.com
Closed Beta test.
Current EQEcon Premium members will be happy to hear that our Premium service will include
both EQEcon and WOWEcon for the same price.
We look forward to expanding our coverage to include both EverQuest and World of Warcraft,
and hope you enjoy the new service!

EQEcon.com is an independent fansite for the popular Massively Multiplayer Online Game
EverQuest. While multiple
sites offer player submitted in-game item prices, we wanted to create a site that
provides more accurate prices straight from the Bazaar. We update our prices multiple times
per day, and offer server-specific pricing and fully custom stock-market style price
charts for EQEcon Premium subscribers.
We hope that EQEcon will help players find good prices for their items and give them
a way to combat price inflation. We also hope our site will broaden the game's
appeal to new players who would rather trade than hack-and-slash.
